How to batch render in After Effects?

You have a lot of  After Effects .aep files that waits for rendering. So maybe you do old school way; import all aep to one After Effects file and render all in order.

But in fact there is a better and easier way! You can render all your compositions in your after effects files (.aep) in any format you want.

(Note: This lesson needs CS5 and above)

Let’s start!

First of all,

run After Effects (To create dynamic links it need to run)

Minimize After Effects and run Adobe Media Encoder (64bit)

Drag and drop your .aep file into Adobe Media Encoder,

It will open a window named; “Import After Effects Composition” and it will list your compositions.

Select your composition to render and press OK.

If you need another composition in same aep file, drag it again and select the other composition.

After finished your importing process, select format and presets.

You can edit its size, its quality settings etc. by pressing preset name or you can save your own presets.

That’s all folks,

Stay in Fxfx,
